The magazine IDN sought a fresh promotional approach, and this project delivered a visually intriguing blend of 2D and 3D animation. Puppet animation was used for the 2D character, combined with a hand-drawn, detailed art style that adds an organic and tactile feel. To enhance the scene, 3D dynamic simulations were applied for elements like a picnic basket and blanket, adding a layer of realism to the animation.
